The unique location of the Alpenhof Murnau in the "Blue Land" (colloquial for Upper Bavaria) is the basis for the new interior design concept. In 2011, 100 years of "The Blue Rider" by Wassily Kandinsky and Franz Marc was celebrated.
As Kandinsky raved: "Blue is a typical heavenly color that calls humans to the infinite, and evokes the desire for the pure and the supernatural in them".
